Cellos in jazz? But yes! From the very beginning, cellists gave jazz a unique, rich voice.

The Swiss drummer Dimitri Monstein is fascinated by the cello. He doesn't play the instrument himself, but the sounds of the cello are of central importance for his current new compositions. Already at Monstein's debut album »Landscape« and at the accompanying concerts the audience reacted enthusiastically and they raved about the warmth and the tonal colors that the cellist of the Monstein Ensemble produced.
